Brand & Content Strategist · Mumbai

I make creativity work for business.

A lateral thinker who spends most time decoding “why this?” & “why that?” Someone constantly trying to connect the dots between multiple unnoticed events and turning them into striking content pieces. I’m an insight-driven person who believes in delivering impactful work.

Creative foundations

First, I learned how to make work people notice.

Across SoCheers, 22feet Tribal Worldwide and Yes Yes, Why Not?, I learned the craft from the inside: writing for different platforms, finding ideas in culture, launching entertainment people were waiting for and creating at the speed of live conversation.

I worked across Amazon Prime Video Originals, Hero MotoSports, Fastrack, Gordon's Gin and BBC World News - moving from copywriting to creative leadership while managing teams, talent and high-pressure launch windows.

Srikant Tiwari is looking for a job.

After a long gap between seasons, we brought The Family Man's lead character into the real world - first through a LinkedIn job hunt and then through a fan-powered meme property.

    Every race is a mission.

Seven national and international rallies became chapters in one continuous content journey - connecting real-time coverage, rider personalities and year-long fan engagement.

Sell the watch. Don't tell the audience who to be.

To launch Reflex Vox without sounding like another brand trying to define young people, Fastrack created #YouDoYou - a campaign that made individuality the message and the product part of that expression.

The question changed

Making good work was only part of the challenge.

I wanted to understand what made creativity commercially valuable: how an audience insight becomes a brand position, how a campaign becomes a growth engine and how a good way of working becomes a repeatable system.

Strategic scale

Then, I learned how to make creativity move business.

At Times Internet, my canvas expanded from individual campaigns to an ecosystem of 35+ platforms reaching more than 250 million monthly users.

I now connect business objectives, audience behaviour, brand positioning, content, media and execution - working across sales, product, production, agencies and C-suite stakeholders.

This work has contributed to three consecutive years of revenue growth - 13%, 19% and 22% - while an eight-step AI-powered workflow has helped a 15-person team move from brief to strategy with greater speed and consistency.

Can a brand erase Valentine's Day?

5 Star set out to free singles from the year's most crowded romantic ritual - with a ship, the international date line and a live mission audiences could help complete.

How I work

Purpose over protocol.

Every project begins with three questions:

  • Why this?
  • Why now?
  • Why should anyone care?

Advertising doesn't only compete with other advertising. It competes with everything demanding a person's attention - and with the limited space available in their memory.

That is why I begin with the problem, not the deliverable.

I look for connections between business objectives, audience behaviour and cultural signals that might otherwise go unnoticed. Then I turn those connections into a focused strategy, an executable creative system and work designed to create meaningful movement.

  1. 01 - Empathise / Decode

Understand the world surrounding the problem.

I examine the business context, audience behaviour, category conventions and cultural conversations before deciding what the communication should say.

  2. 02 - Define / Focus

Find the problem behind the brief.

I keep asking "Why this?" and "Why that?" until an ambiguous objective becomes a precise challenge that strategy and creativity can genuinely address.

  3. 03 - Ideate / Connect

Connect the dots others might overlook.

I bring together audience insight, cultural context and brand purpose to identify strategic territories - and select the idea with the strongest potential to be both relevant and valuable.

  4. 04 - Prototype / Create

Turn the idea into something teams can use.

I translate the strategy into campaign architecture, content formats, channel roles and clear creative direction - giving internal and external teams a shared system for execution.

  5. 05 - Test / Make it stay

    Learn what created movement.

I evaluate what earned attention, changed perception, influenced behaviour or contributed to a business outcome. Those learnings inform the next iteration and help successful ideas scale.

Because in a fast-moving world, I believe in creating work that chooses to stay.

Awards & recognition

About Bhagyesh

Part creative, part strategist, always looking for the system behind the idea.

I'm a Mumbai-based brand and content strategist with eight years of experience across agencies and India's largest digital media ecosystem.

The first half of my career taught me how to write, create and lead work that earns attention. The second taught me how to connect that creativity to positioning, growth, stakeholder alignment and scalable ways of working.

Outside campaign work, I'm interested in AI systems and automation, strategic and intelligence studies, music and stand-up comedy.
